Designed for individuals entering the industry or existing workers seeking a nationally recognised qualification, the course focuses on vegetation management in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus while meeting current industry and safety requirements.

Through a combination of classroom learning and practical training, participants develop the skills to identify hazards, apply safe work practices, use industry equipment, and perform vegetation control activities in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards and network requirements.

Depending on employer and network requirements, participants may also undertake additional ESI and utility-specific training alongside this qualification to support workplace authorisation and network access.

AHC30824 Certificate III in Arboriculture is a nationally recognised trade qualification for individuals pursuing a career in professional arboriculture. Whether you’re new to the industry or building on existing experience, this qualification develops the practical skills and technical knowledge required to work safely and confidently in a range of arboricultural roles.

The course covers core arboriculture practices including tree maintenance, pruning, tree health assessment, and felling, while placing a strong emphasis on safety, risk management and industry best practice. Participants can further develop their skills through specialist training pathways, including the Climbing Arborist or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Arborist streams.

The Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) & Utility Units are designed for workers who require nationally recognised competency in specific aspects of utility vegetation management and working safely in the vicinity of electrical infrastructure. These units support both initial authorisation and ongoing workforce development across the electricity supply and vegetation management industries.

Training is delivered by experienced industry professionals and combines practical activities with current legislative, safety and industry requirements to ensure participants are prepared for real workplace conditions.

The VESI Network & Safety Training program provides industry-specific training to support compliance with Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) requirements. Designed for personnel working on or around electricity network infrastructure, these courses reinforce safe work practices, network requirements and environmental responsibilities.

Delivered as industry training, these programs help individuals and organisations maintain current knowledge and meet ongoing network authorisation requirements.

*Participants receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion. These modules do not result in an AQF qualification or Statement of Attainment.

The ESI Chipper Operator Program is designed for workers involved in vegetation management within the Electricity Supply Industry.
